How's the new vintage 2023?

Raise your glass! Let's toast to a successful harvest in 2023.

After  five intense weeks, we have successfully concluded this year's harvest. The grape harvest began at the end of August with the Chardonnay grapes for our base wine for sparkling wine and ended with the Cabernet grapes. This year, we started a week later compared to the previous year.
The autumn weather was at its finest, but the entire year posed a significant challenge for viticulture. Abundant precipitation in the spring/summer required a particularly high effort from our vine growers. Thanks to their tireless diligence, however, we were able to harvest healthy and high-quality grapes.

Cellar Master Philipp Zublasing is very satisfied with the quality of the grapes. The sugar levels this year are somewhat lower than usual, acidity levels are in the optimal range, and the taste of the grapes promises fine, fruity, and complex wines.

With great anticipation, we can now look forward to a promising vintage in 2023.
