Sanctissimus
Riserva 2016
The very essence of Pinot Blanc
The vines planted already in 1899 on a particularly steep slope characterise the almost oldest vineyard in Alto Adige. The grapes that are hand picked with extreme care and the very small yield create the valuable foundation for our unique Pinot Blanc, Sanctissimus. The grapes are then gently and slowly fermented on their skins in clay amphoraes at a constant temperature. The wine find its natural balance after the ripening process in the large wooden barrel made of Appiano’s oak. This white wine offers a complex aroma experience and develops on the palate a dense, mineral and perfect balance.
